What to Expect During Your Initial Assessment:

Pre-Visit Understanding

Before your visit, we gather detailed information about your injury, diagnosis, and living situation from the referring party. This helps us prepare and ensures that we can provide the most effective care from the very start. We are happy to offer virtual meet and greets to ensure clients are comfortable from the outset.

Comprehensive Evaluation

Our experienced therapists conduct a thorough evaluation, taking the time to understand your or your loved one’s medical history, current challenges, and goals.

Home or School Visits

The evaluation process may include home or school visits to observe how you function in your daily environment. This helps us gain a better understanding of your needs in real-life contexts.

Collaborative Process

We believe in teamwork. Our therapists work closely with you, your family, caregivers, teachers, and the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to create a holistic view of your needs and the best path forward.

Standardised Assessments

We may include standardized assessments during the initial visit or recommend them for a later stage to ensure a thorough and accurate understanding of your abilities and needs.
